Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 13, 2026

DevSecBox ("we", "us") provides free browser-based developer and security tools at devsecbox.fyi. This page explains what data is and isn't collected when you use the site.

Tool data stays in your browser

Every tool on DevSecBox — including the Base64 encoder/decoder — runs entirely client-side. Text you type or paste into a tool is processed locally in your browser and is never transmitted to our servers or stored by us.

Analytics

We may use standard web analytics (such as Google Analytics) to understand aggregate traffic, such as which pages are visited and roughly where visitors are located. This data is anonymized and is not linked to the content you enter into any tool.

Advertising

DevSecBox may display ads served by third-party providers such as Google AdSense. These providers may use cookies or similar technologies to serve relevant ads. You can control ad personalization through Google's Ads Settings, and browser-level tracking controls also apply here.

Cookies

The site itself does not set functional cookies for tool operation. Any cookies present come from analytics or advertising scripts described above.

Third-party links

DevSecBox does not control the content or privacy practices of any external sites linked from this site.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site grows. Continued use of DevSecBox after changes means you accept the updated policy.

Questions about this policy can be sent via the contact details listed on the Contact page, or by opening an issue on the project's repository.
